Currently on a break from her global Eras Tour, Taylor Swift is attending the Chiefs’ game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he plays tight end in the first NFL game of the 2024–2025 season.
With the Chiefs coming off back-to-back Super Bowl victories, this game is already significant, and Swift’s presence makes it an even bigger cultural event. Swift made her debut as Kelce’s girlfriend at a Chiefs game last year on September 24, marking almost a year of “The Taylor/NFL Discourse.”
Arriving nearly an hour early, Swift turned heads in a striking denim-on-denim outfit. She wore a denim corset top and matching short shorts, but the highlight was her bold patent leather thigh-high boots in deep red. Her accessories were minimal, featuring a green pendant necklace and gold chain bracelets, complementing her black box bag. Swift’s look was completed with a bouncy blowout and her signature red lipstick.
Her side-swept bangs and overall look were reminiscent of her Reputation-era music video for “Look What You Made Me Do.” While some might wonder if this is a hint about new music, Swift’s exact intentions remain unclear.
As for the action on the field, are the plays being drawn up…Swift-ly? Kelce recently shared that Taylor Swift has been crafting game strategies for the team, a testament to her meticulous nature. However, none of her plays have reached Coach Andy Reid yet.
“She’s been so eager to learn about the game,” Kelce mentioned during his appearance on the Rich Eisen Show. “She didn’t know much about the rules, but what makes her exceptional in her own field is her attention to detail—whether it’s in her lyrics, music, or videos.”
“She’s so detail-oriented and curious about football that it’s possible she’s designing plays. If any of her ideas ever make it to Coach Reid, I’ll be sure everyone knows it was her creation.
