Regarding the BDSM universe in which Grey resides, Dornan stated candidly, “Whatever turns people on is entirely up to them, and there are a million different ways to sexually please yourself.”
Dornan reportedly separated himself from more than simply Christian Grey’s sexual inclinations. He also said he didn’t like the character’s mannerisms. I can’t see myself at a bar with him because he’s not the kind of guy I’d get along with; my friends are all laid-back and funny. I don’t see him as a potential partner of mine.
