The 11th anniversary of the Korean pop group BTS is rapidly approaching. A festive atmosphere fills the air when they announce their yearly Festa festivities.
BTS’ Jin will make a formal debut at the 2024 FESTA after completing his military commitment. According to a press release, the singer-songwriter will greet 1,000 fortunate fans at the complex’s Jamsil Arena with a hug. Jin will also give a message “consisting of a variety of segments promising an unforgettable experience for ARMY,” according to the statement. The artist’s message will be live-streamed to those with ARMY Membership via Weverse Live.
In addition to Jin’s performance, this year’s FESTA will include a sketch journal to celebrate BTS’ 11th anniversary.
On Saturday (June 1), BTS announced the official timetable for the 2024 FESTA. Before the major event, the boy band releases unpublished images, streams prior shows, and posts handwritten text from each of the seven members.
BTS members Jin, RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are now enlisted in the South Korean military, which requires all able-bodied males to serve for 18 months by age 28. Several members have pursued other solo projects throughout their service, and the whole group plans to reassemble for band activities in 2025.
BTS had their first entry in 2013, with “No More Dreams” debuting at No. 14 on World Digital Song Sales. Since then, the group has set various records, including the most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 debuts and top ten debuts among groups. Individually, the BTS lads have had a successful few years, with all seven members having solo songs on the Hot 100 chart.
