Sitting near the moss-covered piano, Swift said, “You guys are absolute champions and heroes for dancing even harder when it started raining.”

“I saw that,” she said, as her admirers applauded. The “Blank Space” singer went on to say that, despite not traveling much in Europe, she could not thank her fans abroad fans enough for their kind welcome.

Swift then turned her attention to someone in the crowd and inquired if they needed assistance.

Speaking in French, the singer requested aid for the fan before responding, “Yeah, we have to take care of these crowds because you’re just the best, and you just dance so wildly and sing so loudly.”

Playing the piano, she said, “I never dreamed we’d have so much fun on the European tour. It’s simply been wild, and I thank you all so much.”

She then said that she was pleased to perform “Champagne Problems.”

Swift also acknowledged Pride Month at the event, telling the audience, “Happy Pride Month, Lyon,” before playing “You Need to Calm Down.” Rainbow lights flashed over the stage as she sang the 2019 song, and supporters raised their arms in unison.

The multiple Grammy winner will do another gig in Lyon on Monday, June 3, before traveling to the United Kingdom to conduct additional concerts in England, Scotland, and Wales, as well as Dublin, Ireland.

She praised her fans for two “magical nights” in Madrid, Spain, before her performance in Lyon.

“I love you forever, Madrid!!! Swift, 34, said in her Instagram post on Friday, May 31: “No ability to convey my thoughts other than to just YELL that.”

“We just spent two amazing evenings dancing and singing with the most exciting, passionate people, and I’ll never forget a moment of it. I cannot thank you all enough.
