Eagles announce residency at Sphere in Las Vegas

The Eagles will be the next act to nest at the Sphere, with the “Hotel California” band announcing a four-weekend residency at the cutting-edge Las Vegas venue.

A month after Dead and Company finished their own Sphere engagement in August, the Eagles will return on September 20 and 21 for the first of four Friday and Saturday shows at the venue.

The band, which includes Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, is then set to perform at the Sphere on the weekends of September 27–28, October 11–12, and 18–19.

Artist presale registration for the Sphere gigs is now available on the Eagles’ website, where fans can also find public on-sale and restricted VIP ticket information.

The Eagles are the 4th band to perform the Sphere, after U2, Phish, and Dead and Company.

The Sphere residency comes while the Eagles are in the middle of their Long Goodbye “official farewell tour,” which began in 2023 with a series of arena concerts and is anticipated to continue until 2025. “The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals, and setbacks of many kinds,” the group said in a 2017 statement.

“Credit and appreciation go to our veteran management staff, our loyal road crew, and our excellent backup musicians for their competent and dependable assistance throughout the years. We understand how blessed we are and are very appreciative. Our lengthy run has lasted much longer than we could have imagined. But everything has a time, and the moment has arrived for us to complete the cycle.
