Dave Grohl Seemingly Mocks Taylor Swift at Foo Fighters’ London Concert: ‘We Actually Play Live’

The pop artist seems to have replied to a jab from Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl, who indicated that her Eras Tour performances may not be 100% live.

Swift thanked her band during the “Folklore-Evermore” portion of Sunday’s third night’s performance at Wembley Stadium, the same night that Travis Kelce debuted onstage with the Eras Tour.

Swift praised her bandmates, staff, and audience, saying, “Everyone of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band—who’s gonna play live for you for three and a half hours tonight—they deserve this so much.” The caption was filmed and published online.

On Saturday, when the Foo Fighters were performing at London Stadium, Grohl joked about how Swift was also performing that weekend.

“We like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour,'” Grohl said. “We’ve had more than a few periods, and more than a few f**king blunders. Just a few. That’s because we perform live.

When the crowd booed, he said, “What?! Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, correct? You arrived at the proper f**king location.”

Grohl prefaced his comments by stating, “I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.” Too late.

“Dave Grohl is the last artist I expected that from,” one admirer said on X. “He’s usually so kind, positive, and a good force in the music industry, feeling disappointed.”

Grohl’s admission was surprising given that he had previously proclaimed himself “officially obsessed” with Swift in 2015.
