“Bebe Rexha on Music Industry: Threatens to ‘Bring Down’ Industry, Fears Retaliation”

Bebe Rexha slammed the music business in a ferocious series of X on Tuesday

The 34-year-old Rexha got her start in the music industry as a composer, penning popular songs for artists including Nick Jonas, Tyler Hubbard, Selena Gomez, and Eminem. She’s been on a slew of hit songs and has released three studio albums of her own.

Singer of “Say My Name” and longtime Warner Records employee made bold claims online, claiming she could “bring down a BIG chunk of this industry” in a string of tweets.

“I’m frustrated. I’ve been UNDERMINED. “I’ve been very quiet for a long time,” Rexha wrote. “I haven’t noticed the indications, despite the fact that they are so obvious. And when I spoke out, I was silenced and punished by this industry.

“Things must change, or I will reveal all of my truths. “Good, bad, and ugly.”

She answered to one fan’s question about “what happened again” with, “Again? You haven’t even heard five percent. “You have no idea.”

According to a fan, “Nobody should be forgiven for the time they took your name out of Hey Mama.” Rexha just replied: “My love. That? Compared to all the other things you’re unaware of? “That is child’s play.”

David Guetta’s 2015 single “Hey Mama” was co-written by Rexha, Guetta, and many other persons. While she was originally granted co-writer credit, she did not get credit for vocals on the single, which also featured Nicki Minaj and Afrojack, an issue that has subsequently been resolved.

When asked what prevented her from speaking out, the pop singer said, “THEY PUNISH YOU.”

Another user believed Bebe was promoting her current track, “I’m The Drama,” which Rexha disputed.

“Marketing? That is not within my budget. “I’m fed up,” she wrote.

She did not identify the cause of her “sadness,” but the “I’m a Mess” singer thanked her fans for their support.

“This isn’t just about being angry. “It’s sad,” Rexha told her admirers. “I am sitting in my hotel room in London.” I am crying my eyeballs out. I’ve felt hopeless for a long time. I’ve been wandering throughout the city and meeting fans, and they’ve really sparked something inside of me.”

What kind of music does Bebe Rexha do?

Although she is most recognized for her pop music, Rexha has been called a “pop chameleon” for her versatility. She has subsequently recorded songs in several genres such as hip hop, alternative rock, R&B, country, rock, dance, and electronic music, with her first composition credit being a K-pop song for Shinee, the title song from the album Lucifer.

When did Bebe Rexha start her music career?

The Swedish Recording Industry Association (GLF) awarded Rexha a Platinum certification for her 2014 debut song “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You,” and her 2015 track “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” was another hit. I Don’t Wanna Grow Up (2015), the singer’s first EP, included both singles.
